Pet Policy Information
Note: Each property owner is allowed to set their own pet policy. Though most PMI properties do allow a pet, please see the property listing to determine if the home you're interested in allows pets.
- All pets must be properly licensed, have shots required by statute, and be spayed or neutered. Please be prepared to show documentation.
- Breeds with a disposition for aggressive behavior are prohibited.
- Most properties have restrictions on the number of pets and/or the size of the pet. Please check with the property listing for specific details.
- Be prepared to provide a picture of your pet and vaccination records..
- A security deposit will be charged for each pet. The amount of the deposit will vary depending on owner policy and size of the pet.
- A monthly pet rent will be charged for each pet. The amount of the pet rent will vary from $50 to $60 per month depending on the screening results

PETSCREENING IS A REQUIRED PART OF THE APPLICATION PROCESS FOR ALL APPLICANTS:
A welcoming environment is paramount to all of our residents with or without pets as well as animals. To help ensure ALL of our residents understand our pet and animal-related policies, we use a third-party screening service and require EVERYONE to complete a profile. This process ensures we have formalized pet and animal-related policy acknowledgments and more accurate records to create greater mutual accountability.
